School Calender 2014~2015

Dear Parents/Carers and Children,

The new term has started with great enthusiam and excitement from the pupils and staff, and all have embarked upon new and exciting topics. Mrs Lee Jones and Mrs Birkin are enjoying the challenges they are faced with on their Welsh sabbatical and we wish them luck! I would like to take this opportunity to welcome back Mrs Anne Marie McLoghlin in Class 1 and  Miss Phoebe John in Class 5, and also Miss Andrea Cooper in Class 3.  All staff are dedicated and enthusiastic in delivering new and exciting learning opportunities to your children.  They have commented on the excellent behaviour and standards of learning and have fitted in with the team here.  If you have any class based questions or queries please do not hesitate to get in touch with them.

Myself and Mrs Williams and Mrs Hughes will be up grading the school website over the coming weeks. Our aim is to make it more smart phone and tablet friendly, as well as linking in schoop.  Please bear with us at this time. We will keep you up to date.

Please if you haven't already, could you download the SCHOOP app for your phone.  It is an excellent way of communicating with parents and carers and is very personal to your child's class.  Our school ID is 7008.

It is very important for any parent/carer dropping off children to use the car-park near to the Fox and Hounds.  The safety of our children is paramount and we would urge you to take every precaution at drop-off and pick-up times.  It is much darker this time of the year which makes it more important to take care.  We would also encourage children to wear bright reflective colour to ensure they are seen.  Consideration also needs to be given to local residents who are very often inconvenienced by drives being blocked and the parking on private roads.

All children need to be brought to the office by parents when arriving late in the morning.
